Online Teetimes is an Irish company and has operated teetimes.ie for many years. Our new site allows golfers to book tee times and search membership options at our client courses. The site is powered by Back 9 Solutions Ltd. Back 9 is focused on providing powerful software solutions to the golf industry and is the leading provider of booking software to golf courses in UAE.

Is there a booking or cancellation charge?

No. We do not charge the golfer anything for booking tee times through our site or for canceling a tee time in line with the club’s cancellation policy. However, depending on which course you book, a deposit or full payment may be taken at the time of the booking. Any balance will be paid when you arrive at the golf club. The amount you pay will be clearly shown at the time of booking.

How do I search for tee times?

In the search bar you simply enter your Eircode, town or golf club and your search results will show you the clubs with availability on the date you selected. Once you click on the course you want to play, you will see the tee times available and the price per tee time. Click on the time you want and the number of players and complete the booking process.  

What information is needed to book a tee time?

You will only need to provide your phone number, email address, phone number and credit card details to book a tee time. All information apart from your credit card details are saved in your profile and can be edited at any time by you.

How do I see the Club Rules and Cancellation Policy?

Club rules and cancellation policy are listed on the check out page before you book. 

Why is payment in full required for some times and not for others?

Some clubs require full payment in advance, while others require a deposit amount. These amounts are visible before you complete your booking. There are no extra booking fees. 

What will appear on my credit card for a booking?

Back9 Digital IE Golf Courses is what will appear on your bank statement. All our payments are secured using the secure Stripe platform.  

How do I know that the booking was made successfully?

After completing your tee time booking, you will receive 2 emails from us. The first is a payment receipt email and the second is your tee time confirmation email. Please retain both of these. Your booking will also be visible if you have registered on the site and you can simply login to view your booking. 

How do I change a booking?

To reduce the number of players email us and we will amend the booking.

To increase the number of players, please contact the club directly as our software only allows one booking per line. At busy times the club may not be able to add an additional player if the times have been filled with other players.

How do I cancel a booking?

PLEASE CHECK THE CLUB'S CANCELLATION POLICY IN THE BOOKING CONFIRMATION EMAIL.

If you are canceling within the cancellation policy, you can cancel your booking by accessing your account on the site and clicking on the booking you wish to cancel. You can choose to have any payment credited to your account and use that to make a further booking at a later stage. If you wish to receive a refund just click the refund option after you cancel and we will return any funds. It can take 3 to 5 working days to appear back in your account.

Will I receive an unsolicited email?

Your details are not shared with any 3rd party, other than the golf club you book with. We may from time to time inform you of any special offers that clubs are running in your area.  

Will I be contacted if the course is closed?

In the event of marginal weather, unless the golf course is deemed closed, all scheduled play will occur.

It is the golfers responsibility to contact the golf club and confirm if the course is open for play. We encourage you to call ahead if the weather is in question. In most instances the golf club will contact you to let you know whether the course is closed or not. 

Golf Club Membership Section

Many of our client clubs are now promoting their various membership categories on our site and you can search by membership type using the search bar. The club information pages also contain each clubs membership offerings. You can enquire about any of these options by simply clicking the ENQUIRE NOW button and filling in your basic details. These will be sent to the club and they will follow up with you directly.

The information is as current as we can make it but from time to time some of the information may not be 100% accurate. We apologise in advance for this.
